Returns, handled in a set order.
Authorize the return before the part ships back, receive it, decide what happens to it, and credit the customer, with every step on the record.

What it does
- A return authorization (RMA) from the shipped sales order, with the parts still returnable copied across and how long the approval is good for
- A printout for the customer with your logo, the RMA number to write on the package and what to send with the part
- Receive it, then close the RMA with what you decided: credit, replace, repair or reject
- A credit memo from the shipped order that can never credit more than was sold; it never changes stock
- To undo a credit memo, void it with a reason; it is never deleted
How it works
Open the shipped sales order
Sell > Sales Orders, then the order. Press Authorize a return.
Trim what may come back
The parts still returnable are copied across. Lower a quantity, remove a line, add the reason, and set how long the approval is good (30 days to start).
Print it for the customer
Press Print. It carries your logo, the RMA number to write on the package, and what to send with the part.
Receive it, then decide
When the part arrives press Mark received, then Close this RMA with what you decided: credit, replace, repair or reject.
